Fergie's Alaskan Charters & Lodging provides not only excellent drift and power boat fishing charters on the Kenai and Kasilof Rivers but also a variety of different fishing experiences that are included with our unique packages. Click HERE for packages.

Our packages allow you to experience a variety of fishing experiences that the Kenai Peninsula has to offer. From Kenai River King Salmon to deep sea Halibut fishing. From fly-out fishing trips where you catch salmon with Brown Bears to Upper Kenai River Trout trips where a fly rod is always a welcome companion, we can arrange it. What to bring:
If you decide to stay and fish with us we recommend that you bring the following:

Rain gear
Warm clothes that you can layer with if the Lord decides it should rain.
Kick around shoes. If you really want to fit in as an Alaskan just bring some knee-high rubber boots.
A hat and gloves.
Be sure to purchase a fishing license and a king stamp if you are going king fishing. You can purchase these at any convenience or department store in Alaska.

What is included:

All charters include all of the fishing equipment and bait needed to experience the thrill of landing fish. All equipment is high in quality which really adds to the enjoyment of catching fish.

Processing your catch:

We do not offer processing based on time and quality limitations. We have discovered that your fish will taste much better if it is professionally packaged and flash frozen.
By being professionally vacuum packed your fish will stay much better while being stored in your freezer. The processor that we use has freezers that will flash freeze your catch; which combats a loss of freshness due to slow freezing. The cost is $1.15 a pound.
Of course we will fillet your catch at no charge and will deliver it to the processor if you would like. Doing this will save you some considerable money based on the fact that they charge you per pound for fish arriving from the river. It is estimated that after a fish is cleaned it will lose nearly 50% of its weight, now that is a savings.
