Fergie's Alaskan Charters & Lodging now offers Deluxe lodging on the Kasilof River. Our two cabins are more like condos than cabins. Each unit has two bedrooms, a full bath and a kitchen. These Alaska fishing cabins offer you plenty of room to stretch being 20' by 30'.

Why the Kasilof River and not the Kenai River? Well, we believe that the Kasilof River is a much better river to stay on since it is basically a drift boat only river. This allows for peace and quiet instead of listening to the constant whining of outboard engines. If you are looking for a true Alaskan getaway without losing modem conveniences, you have found the right place. Being away from Soldotna (15mi) you are able to enjoy the laid back lifestyle of Kasilof instead of the hustle and bustle of RVs and the innumerable visitors.

Our objective is to provide you a place to stay that is accommodating, comfortable (not rustic), close to the river, secluded, and scenic. By doing this we feel that you will not only enjoy your stay immensely, but will tell friends and family, and hopefully come back.
 
Our cabin is located 60 feet from the Kasilof River in a very private setting. There is nothing like being that close to the water. It allows you to open your window at night or during the day and be lulled to sleep by the sound of water. In addition there is abundant wildlife with eagles frequently flying by and actually landing in the big Cottonwood Trees on our property.

For meals we will provide you with all of the fixings necessary for you to prepare a good breakfast. This is helpful if you do not feel like shopping before you come to our place.

Around late June and early July we have an excellent run of sockeye salmon that run up the Kasilof Since they run so close to the bank you are able to fish for them while you are waiting for your next charter. On the days there are no reds, there are silver salmon and trout to fish for on your off time depending on the time of year.
